PROVISION OF SERVICES AS PROGRAMME ASSESSOR FOR PROTÉGÉ KITA 2020/21

Protégé Kita is SMCCI’s flagship business growth programme for new and aspiring businesses. First run in 2015, the programme has now been expanded, with successful graduating teams receiving support throughout 18 months, with the aim of ensuring that its participants receive every possible form of support in incubating their business ideas into full-fledged running businesses which are capable of expanding and thriving in the dynamic and challenging business environment of today.

OBJECTIVES OF TENDER

To design a suite of assessment tools and thereafter operationalise its use through the operationalisation of a holistic assessment exercise of all phases of Protégé Kita 2020/21.

To provide a comprehensive set of reports identifying the relevant strengths and areas for improvement of the programme with the underlying desired outcome to provide an endorsement of the said programme, consequent upon the programme meeting the desired outcomes identified.

CALL-FOR-CONSULTANTS FOR MUSLIM-OWNED ESTABLISHMENT (MOE) TRAINING

SMCCI is looking for a suitable consultant who is interested to partner with the Chamber in conducting a 2-hour ‘Muslim-Owned Establishment’ training for its members in the F & B industry. The appointed consultant will be required to fulfil 6 runs of the training for a period of one year.

The training serves to increase the participant’s awareness on the responsibility of running a Halal business.

The training should address topics that include 1) Halal Food Market, 2) Halal Food Ingredients and Beverages and 3) Overview of Halal concept, policies and best practices.

In addition, the training should integrate a variety of interactive teaching approaches, including (but not limited to) hands-on activities, group discussions and Q & A.

SMCCI is pleased to explore other functionalities that will add value to the training with the underlying objective of providing SMCCI members the opportunity to expand their business.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Conference 2019 (#YEC2019) is a full day event organized by SMCCI for business aficionados aged 17 to 35 years old. The conference aims to provide a platform for young entrepreneurs in Singapore and the region to showcase their talents at the forefront of technology and start-up spaces in the various business fields. #YEC2019 features interactive workshops, inspiring keynotes, engaging discussions, networking opportunities as well as the official launch of Protégé Kita Challenge (Reboot).

SMCCI is looking for suitable partners who will be able to work with the chamber in creating an application/portal (either stand-alone or web-based) which will have the following functionalities:

- Ability to hold all crucial information of Members (up to 15 standardised fields per registered member)
- Ability to allow members to be able to interact with each other via direct messaging on the platform
- Gated access for members with certain privileges (i.e. ability to send personal message, ability to view access information), non members will have to sign-up and login but not access certain portions of the infrastructure
- Ability for members to edit and advertise the services provided by their company
- Ability for members to "business-match" based on the advertising of required good and services

In addition, the application should also allow (on the back-end):

- Ability to edit members and automate emails for membership purposes (i.e. membership renewal, welcome email, newsletter and bulletins)
- Ability to rank and sort members according to different variables (i.e. length of membership, industry etc)

SMCCI is happy to explore other functionalities that can add further value to the application/portal, with the underlying objective of adding value to members of SMCCI and giving them greater opportunity to expand their business through the portal.

The appointed partner will be expected to fulfil the following deliverables:

i) Conceptualise the day's programme integrating SMCCI's inputs into a harmonised programme flow

iii) Prepare a master creative for the event consisting of harmonised colour scheme, design language and visuals for the event, incorporating inputs from SMCCI
iv) Prepare and execute a marketing campaign to be run on multiple publicity platforms
v) Provide necessary audio-visual resources to capture event day photo and video
vi) Work closely with appointed parties of SMCCI in ensuring integration of SMCCI-centric initiatives within programme and in run-up to event day
